Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Mizi collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. Mizi is a trading name of Ecommerce Blues LLC ("Mizi", "we", "us"), 5830 East 2nd Street, Casper, WY 82609, United States. Questions: keira@mizi.ai.
What we collect
- What you give us when you apply or book a call: name, email, company, website, your answers to the application questions and, when you book, your mobile number. The audit quiz does not ask for a phone number.
- When you preview your ads: the store address you type. We read your store’s public product list to make the example ads, and we do not store it unless you ask us to send the ads. If you do, we also collect your monthly revenue range, mobile number and email, and whether you ticked the box to receive your ads by WhatsApp or text.
- Your call: the time you booked and, if you agree at the start of the call, a recording and summary of it.
- Public information about your business: your website, product catalogue, public social media, public ads, and the emails your brand sends to subscribers. We use this to prepare for the call and to show you example work.
- If you become a client: account and billing details, the people you add to your workspace, and the data your connected platforms (such as Shopify, Meta, Klaviyo and Slack) make available to deliver the service.
- SMS choices and delivery: whether you selected the optional SMS-reminder checkbox, the wording shown, the time and source of that choice, your mobile number, and message delivery, HELP and STOP records.
- Technical data: basic logs of visits to our site and delivery status of emails or text messages we send you.
- Optional audit-page measurement: if you agree, a random browser journey identifier, your measurement choices and their timestamps, campaign and ad identifiers from permitted link parameters, and the quiz steps and buttons you use. This measurement does not collect the contact details or business answers you enter, full URLs, or a record of your activity on other websites.
Why we use it
- To respond to your application, arrange and hold your call, and send you reminders about it.
- To prepare example work for your brand before the call.
- To deliver, bill and support the service if you become a client.
- To keep our systems secure and working.
- With your permission, to understand which campaigns bring visits to our audit page and how people use that page. This is separate from submitting an application or agreeing to marketing messages.
- To improve the service, using data that has been anonymised and aggregated across many brands so that no person or business can be identified.
Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on taking steps at your request before a contract, performing our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and improving the service, and your consent where we ask for it (such as SMS reminders and call recording).
SMS appointment reminders
If you actively select the separate, optional and initially unchecked SMS-reminder box on the booking form, Mizi AI (Ecommerce Blues LLC) may send a confirmation, a reminder the day before and one an hour before the call you requested. Message frequency varies, up to four messages per booking. Message and data rates may apply. These are appointment messages only; we do not use this consent for promotional SMS.
Entering a mobile number, applying, accepting cookies or booking a call does not by itself give SMS consent. SMS consent is not a condition of applying, booking or buying. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. You can also contact keira@mizi.ai.
Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in information are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We disclose them only to service providers that need them to deliver the appointment messages you requested, or when the law requires it.
Sending your ads by WhatsApp or text
If you tick the separate, optional and initially unchecked box under your preview ads, Keira or the Mizi team may message you by WhatsApp or text about the ads you asked for and the call you may book. Reply STOP at any time and we will not message you again. Ticking the box is not a condition of receiving your ads by email or booking a call.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf, under contract, to run Mizi:
- CRM and appointment messaging: LeadConnector (GoHighLevel) and its telecommunications providers
- Booking calendar: Calendly
- Email sending: Resend
- Payments: Stripe
- Email, calendar and video calls: Google Workspace
- Team and client communication: Slack
- Call recording and summaries: Fathom
- Website, DNS and security: Vercel, Cloudflare, and our server hosting provider
- AI models used to analyse information and prepare work, accessed through OpenRouter
- Public ad and social media research: GetHookd and Apify
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
Where it is processed
Our providers may process information in the United States, the United Kingdom and the European Union. Where information from the UK or EU is transferred elsewhere, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- If you apply or book but do not become a client: up to 12 months after your last contact with us.
- If you are a client: for the length of the service, then up to 12 months so that picking up again does not mean starting again, and longer where tax or accounting law requires.
- Anonymised, aggregated data that cannot identify you or your business may be kept to improve the service.
- Optional audit measurement events and consent receipts: 90 days from each record, removed by the next daily expiry run. The browser journey identifier is removed once those records expire. Short-lived abuse-prevention tokens are removed on the next request or daily expiry run after their two-minute rate-limit window. These measurement records are separate from application, booking and billing records.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to stop or limit how we use it, or to withdraw a consent you gave. Reply STOP to any SMS from us to stop further text messages. For help, reply HELP or email keira@mizi.ai. We will respond to other privacy requests within one month. If you are in the UK or EU and are unhappy with our response, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies and tracking
When you first visit mizi.ai, a bar at the bottom of the page asks whether we, Meta and Microsoft Clarity may measure which ad or post brought you here. Nothing optional loads until you press Accept, and pressing No does not stop you using the quiz or booking a call. Your choice is kept in your browser; to change it, clear this site's data in your browser and the question comes back. Changing your mind stops further measurement; it does not automatically erase records already collected. To request deletion of those records, contact us.
- mizi_ads_consent_v1: a local-storage entry containing only yes or no, so we remember your choice and do not ask on every page. It has no visitor identifier and remains until you clear site data.
- mizi_attr_v1: session storage in the open tab holding the campaign tags in the link you arrived on (source, campaign, ad and ad set names and IDs, placement and the Facebook click reference), so we know which ad or post brought you. It is sent to our own server only when you give us your email, whatever you chose above, and it is gone when you close the tab.
- Security and our visit log: our servers use your network address for a short time to limit abusive requests. We keep a log of the pages requested on mizi.ai for 30 days, with the last part of your network address removed and without personal booking codes or names from links. Hosting providers may process network addresses when serving requests.
Advertising measurement (Meta Pixel). When you first visit mizi.ai from the UK or Europe we ask whether you accept advertising measurement, and only if you press Accept do we load the Meta Pixel. Visitors in the United States get measurement on by default and can turn it off here. We load the Meta Pixel, which lets Meta record that you visited, which of our ads brought you here, and whether you went on to complete our questions or book a call. Meta may set its own cookies to do this, and processes that data under its own privacy policy. If you press No, or ignore the question, the Meta Pixel is not loaded and nothing is sent to Meta. We remember your choice in your browser; you can change it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. We do not build advertising audiences from your details. Campaign and ad IDs describe the link or campaign, not a verified booking, qualified lead or sale.
Telling Meta about applications and booked calls. When you ask for a Skincare Growth Blueprint (the free work we make for your brand) or complete our questions and your store turns over £30,000 (or $30,000) a month or more, or when you book a call with us, our server tells Meta that this happened, so we can measure which of our ads bring the right people. This comes from our server, not your browser, so it happens whether or not you accepted the cookie question. We send your email address, phone number and name only in scrambled (hashed) form, plus the Facebook click reference if you arrived from one of our ads. We do not send your answers to our questions. Meta uses this to match the event to a Facebook or Instagram account, under its own privacy policy. We rely on our legitimate interest in measuring our own advertising; you can object at any time by emailing keira@mizi.ai and we will stop sending your details.
Site analytics (Microsoft Clarity). The same Accept also turns on Microsoft Clarity, which records how pages on mizi.ai are used: pages viewed, clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, so we can see where the site is confusing and fix it. Clarity masks the text you type into forms by default. Microsoft processes this data under its own privacy statement. If you press No, Clarity is not loaded.
Our own visit record. The same Accept lets mizi.ai keep a random visitor number in your browser and note which of our pages you open and which ad, post or website brought you there. We do not store your IP address with it. It is kept in your browser as a first-party cookie called _mz_vid (and in browser storage as _mz_vid and mizi_vid_v1), and your page visits go to our own server at app.mizi.ai. It is connected to you only if you later give us your email, so we can see which ad or post brought you to us. Visits are deleted after 90 days. If you press No, none of this happens, and any visitor number already saved in your browser is deleted.
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when a page loads. The booking calendar, provided by Calendly, may set cookies needed for it to work when you open it. The quiz uses session storage to keep progress in the open tab and, after an accepted application, keeps one same-browser recovery record for up to 24 hours so the booking can be reopened without putting personal data in the URL. These are separate from optional measurement. You can block or delete cookies and browser storage in your browser settings.
Security
We limit access to people and systems that need it, keep credentials out of our code, and use providers with strong security practices. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your information.
Children
Mizi is a service for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell clients directly about any material change.
